Read More Crea tu “elevator pitch” siguiendo estos pasos

Vermont was short but sweet. The snow storm warnings made us flee back to the south a day earlier, and the cold temperature was something this Caribbean chica and Mediterranean in-laws were not prepared for 😷🤧🥶. . . . Here are a few recommendations if you do a road trip to #Vermont: . . 🍁 Aim for an early fall trip- The foliage colors are enough of a reason to visit. We made it a few days late but still got a little glimpse of the fall colors. . . 🌲Stay by Lake Champlain- Although a 30 mins drive to nearby Burlington, the lake views surrounded by beautiful pine trees makes it totally worth it. We stayed in South Hero, in a little cabin by the lake 😍( check my previous post to see it). . . ☕️ Stop for coffee at #Brattleboro, a hidden coffee town that hubby introduced me to. We stopped at @mochajoesroasting and their coffee was very good. I had the Vermate Latte (mate, ginger, honey, and milk). . . 🏺If you’re like us, who loves to check out flea markets and vintage stores, make sure to visit @vintageinspiredvt to find something special. Check out my stories to see what we got for our new home 🤗.
Life is like going to Vermont wanting to see the fall leaves 🍁 and finding yourself with an early snow ❄️. Things aren’t always as expected, so we should learn to make the most out of them. #thankful

She’s ita, my grandma. I call her ita because she never liked “abuelita” (said it sounded too old 😂). ✨ ✨ She raised me after my parents passed away, so I’m like her youngest daughter. She’s 93, and can still remember everything I tell her, she’s still witty, smart, and wears makeup💄 💁‍♀️. She’s the most glamorous woman I know! ✨ ✨ I admire her for raising 6 children alone as a young widow, for accepting my rebellious moments (they were a lot), and for always supporting my independent and adventurous spirit. For never telling me I had to find a man, have kids, and settle down, but for telling me to be true to myself and find happiness wherever that may be. ✨ ✨ Today, she says she can’t be happier for who I’ve become, the amazing man I’ve married, and the things I’ve achieved. And I tell her it’s all because she was there for me, supporting and guiding me all the way. . . . #nuestrashistorias #weallgrowlatina #RedifiningBadassery #boldlatina #lifestories #womensupportingwomen #feminista #sheisnotlost #unmundoparameli #risingtidesociety #girlpower
